ask the hard-hitting seo questions

As you look for an Newport Beach SEO expert (or need to replace your current partner), ask the hard-hitting questions:

  • Is my structured data complete on every website page?

  • Does my schema markup adhere to character count best practices?

  • Is my header hierarchy intact on each page?

  • Does my site have a standardized URL structure in place?

  • Are my site images optimized for search?

  • Does my site have any glaring content gaps for my product or service?

  • Is my site at risk for getting flagged for duplicate content?

If these sound foreign to you, or you get blank stares from your current provider, it may be time to find a new Newport Beach SEO expert.

Surfer on the shoreline, watching someone body board on The Wedge, the iconic wave in Newport Beach - teabeeshell media

Known for its gorgeous coastline, Newport Beach is arguably the most idyllic city in Orange County. From its islands and peninsula, to its bays and estuaries, a natural escape is never more than a mile away. Once a maritime hub, the city now serves as more of a recreational hotspot and home to some of the wealthiest individuals in the country. Tourists of all kinds love its sandy shores and surfline.

When secondary settlers in the late 1800s, namely the Irvine family, heard that the State of California was selling acres in the area for $1 each, they eagerly snagged the area we know as Newport Beach. The name was simple, but the vision for the area was grand. Before them, the Tongva villages of Genga and Moyongna thrived in the region before being forcibly removed by European settlers. They remain the historical, traditional stewards of the now famous city.

Culturally, Newport Beach centers on its oceanfront location. From yacht clubs and elite restaurants, to ultra wealthy communities, there is a notable “upper crust” vibe that some perceive in the area. There are also beautiful, open public beaches, shopping at Fashion Island and Lido Marina Village, and recreational hot spots on the piers, Balboa Island, and Corona Del Mar neighborhood. The Wedge is an iconic wave located at the furthest southeast point of the Balboa Peninsula, formed by the intersection of the beach and a man-made breakwater jetty that protects Newport Harbor. At certain times in the year, waves reach 30 feet, attracting surfers and OG boogie and body boarders from around the world.

Whales and dolphins come up for air, visible just off the coast at many times throughout the year. Birders flock to the Back Bay, California’s largest and most famous coastal wetland and estuary. Joggers and cyclists line its trails and make their way to the boardwalk along the beach. Fishermen line the piers, and early risers can take home their own local catch from Dory Fishing Fleet and Market. A great bite to eat is always a short walk or drive away, from Michelin nods to mom and pop taco stands.

With endless options to explore, you could spend a lifetime uncovering every hidden gem. Own a local business, looking for a local SEO expert?
